A study that will make you look at your correspondence with girls with new eyes.

Researchers from Pace University in New York once again decided to make our personal lives easier with the help of science.

The study conducted by people named Jonathan Ohadi, Brandon Brown, Leora Trab, and Lisa Rosenthal and published in the journal "Computers in Human Behavior" aimed to identify the connection between the style of writing messages, which is essential for modern communication, and the level of happiness in the couple.

The study involved 205 Americans aged 18 to 29. Each of them received a hefty stack of personality tests that helped the scientists not only learn about the character, habits, and level of happiness in the respondents' relationships but also their way of corresponding. By "way of corresponding," factors such as frequency of correspondence, motivation for it, and, of course, style are meant.

It quickly became clear that the respondents who considered themselves happy in their relationships shared the same style of correspondence as their partners. In other words, if you like to message a girl every half an hour for no reason, just to share a funny sticker, and she prefers to message only when necessary and every two years, then you are unlikely to have a happy shared old age.

Particular attention should be paid to the style of correspondence. Thus, the lack of literacy in the messages from one partner can undermine the confidence of the second, that this is indeed the person with whom they should hold hands in the cinema—of course, if the second partner is also an advocate of correct writing. However, if you both write with mistakes and do not shy away from various “hellos,” everything will be just fine for you.
