1. Do what you know

Even if you doubt your sexual skills, there is surely at least one thing you are really good at. Let's say you're not an oral sex guru, but you excel at spanking, or you may not be confident in your kissing technique, yet you consider yourself a master of caressing.

Spend a month doing what you are good at and what you enjoy. Every time you do it, and at the end of the designated time period, think: “I’m on top because I gave my partner a whole month of great sex.”

2. Try something new

As soon as you feel like a master in one area, start trying other things where you don't feel so comfortable. You don't have to aim for magnificent results right away — practice the new for fun.

3. Laugh

Skills don’t solve everything. What really makes sex good is your attitude towards it. If you can enjoy it and laugh when something goes wrong, success is already in your hands.

4. Focus on what you love about your body

You can constantly think about your flaws, but it’s much better to appreciate your strengths. Therefore, when you look in the mirror, focus on what you like about your face and body. And regarding the features that don’t excite you much, try to pay less attention to them.

5. Wear what boosts your confidence

When you wear something that (at least in your opinion) makes you irresistible, you automatically feel more confident. If you think you look good with that lipstick, put it on before heading to bed. Do you believe you smell nice after that lotion? Slather it on before sex. It doesn’t matter what makes you feel stunning — use it!

6. Repeat a mantra

To truly convey the message of your confidence to yourself, arm yourself with a mantra like “I am sexy.” Repeat it while looking in the mirror, write the phrase in your journal, place sticky notes with these words all over the apartment. The more you hear something, the more you believe it.
