As scientists have found out, pleasure is brought not only by sex.
1. Exercises
Many admit that they experience incredible pleasure during and after a workout. But some female athletes are especially lucky.
Corgasm (from English core — "muscle corset" and orgasm — actually, "orgasm") — this is how spontaneous orgasms caused by physical exertion are called.
Corgasms are regularly recorded in women and extremely rarely — in men.
Scientists have not yet figured out the reasons for such injustice, as well as the nature of corgasms themselves.
It is suggested that tense, tired abdominal and pelvic muscles produce micro-oscillations that stimulate the pelvic floor and clitoris. If this stimulation is combined with the right emotional background and anatomy, a woman experiences a corgasm — a sensation similar to a deep vaginal orgasm, but fortunately not so intense. Imagine having a real orgasm somewhere on a machine in a public gym.
Yes, here is a list of exercises that most often lead to corgasm:
- squats;
- pull-ups;
- twists (torso rotations relative to the legs);
- various plank variants;
- exercises involving knee and thigh raises;
- rope climbing;
- some positions from yoga — mainly those that involve tension on the abdomen.
Enjoy!
2. Childbirth
An orgasm during contractions is a phenomenon that is not very common, but it actually exists.
Several years ago, scientists surveyed almost 1,000 French midwives who had attended about 200,000 births. It turned out that 668 mothers reported to doctors that they experienced sensations similar to orgasm. In 868 cases, midwives observed signs of pleasure in their patients.
And in 9 cases, mothers directly stated: during childbirth, they experienced the same peak of sexual pleasure as in bed with their beloved man.
The number of such lucky ones is generally small: orgasm is observed in about 0.3% of births. However, there is more optimistic statistics. A survey6% of women have an orgasm during birth, conducted by the American "Positive Birth Movement" and the Channel Mum network, showed that about 6% of mothers report sexual pleasure during childbirth.
3. Yawning
Not a simple one, but in the context of taking antidepressants. In general, most medications used to fight depression do not have a very positive effect on sexual life. Usually, they significantly reduce libido. However, there are exceptions.
About 5% of patients experience a curious phenomenon when taking popular antidepressants — prolonged yawning, during which they are hit by a real orgasm. About the "yawning orgasm", in particular, reports Norman Sussman — clinical professor of psychology at New York University School of Medicine.
It should be noted that this trigger for spontaneous orgasm is also available to men.
4. Taking Parkinson's disease medication
There is a case in the history of medical observation involving a 42-year-old patient who, after seven days of taking the medication, began to complain to doctors about intense spontaneous orgasms.
The woman experienced from 3 to 5 sudden orgasms daily, each lasting from 5 to 20 seconds.
Doctors decided to temporarily discontinue the medication with such a strange side effect. After 15 calm days, the patient began taking the medication again — and the spontaneous orgasms returned. As a result, the woman refused to take that particular drug forever.
Scientists have not yet figured out what caused this effect. It is only suggested that the medications sharply change the level of dopamine — the hormone responsible for the emergence of pleasure.
5. Walking
Also not a common, but scientifically recorded case. Once, a 55-year-old woman from the Netherlands went to a doctor with a strange complaint: while walking, she experienced up to 6 orgasms a day! The increasing sensation started in her left foot and gradually moved up through her knee to her pelvis.
The patient was not pleased with such a situation, as the spontaneous orgasms were absolutely unrelated to her plans, thoughts, and moods.
MRI scans of the brain and legs showed no deviations. But when doctors gave the woman an anesthetic injection into the spinal nerve that received sensory information from the foot, the sudden sexual pleasure attacks stopped.
This incident entered medical history under the name "foot orgasm syndrome".
6. Fantasies
A rich imagination is another way to achieve orgasm even in the most unsuitable situations. Sexologists from Rutgers University (USA) found 11 women aged 29 to 74 who claimed to be able to experience acute sexual pleasure from fantasies.
To check if the ladies were fantasizing, the scientists asked the women to achieve orgasm twice. The first time — physically, using various sex toys, and the second time — solely through the power of thought.
Using MRI, sexologists found that in both cases the brain reactedThinking Yourself To Orgasm Could Boost Feelings Of Well-Being exactly the same. That is, an orgasm caused by fantasies was no different from an ordinary one.
