A new study ranked all the horrors of sex. It turns out that women and men are mostly afraid of almost the same things, but differently.
Sex, no matter how you look at it, is quite a nerve-wracking thing. Pleasures are pleasures, but no matter how excited, in love, or drunk you are, anxious thoughts keep popping up in your head: “Is she really enjoying it or just pretending?”, “Maybe it was a bad idea to buy condoms at the 'Everything for 50 rubles' store?”, “What if I fall off the bed again?”, “What if my wife comes back right now?!”
Since we want you not to be distracted by defeatist ideas during such a pleasurable activity and spoil your (and therefore your partner's) mood, we suggest looking at the situation with sober eyes. Believe me, you are not the only one afraid that something will go wrong. The woman you ended up in bed with is also scared. And believe me, her own phobias worry her more than yours. So, it's much more productive and helpful to find out what worries both of you and to behave in a way that allows your partner to relax, stop worrying, and finally start enjoying.
The British pharmaceutical site conducted a survey among two thousand of its clients (1212 men and 916 women) about their strongest fears in bed. The set of phobias for both sexes turned out to be almost identical, but the intensity varied quite a bit.
So, here are two top-10 lists. Fears in the lists are arranged from the least harmful (10th place) to the most terrible (1st place).
10. “After sex, I will lose all interest in the girl and won’t know what to do next.”
9.“The partner will think I’m an inexperienced lover.”
8. “I have a very small penis.”
7.“I don’t know how to have sex properly.”
6.“I will have a problem with erection.”
5. “The partner won’t like how I look naked.”
4.“I will ejaculate prematurely.”
3. “The condom will break.” / “My partner will get pregnant.”
2.“The girl won’t have an orgasm or won’t be satisfied.”
1.“I will contract something from her.”
10. “I don’t know how to have sex properly.”
9.“I won't have an orgasm or won't be satisfied.”
8.“The man won’t have an orgasm or won’t be satisfied.”
7.“An awkward situation will occur during sex due to bodily functions that I cannot control.”
6.“The man will want something I don’t like.”
5.“The man won't listen when you prohibit him from doing something.”
4. “The partner won’t like how I look naked.”
3.“The condom will break.” / “I will get pregnant.”
2.“I will contract something from him.”
1.“The man will refuse to use a condom.”
Well, there you have it. Now you know everything. Use this information for the good of your girl. If she stops worrying, she will even forgive you for the fact that your fear #8 has some real basis.
